Dear Neighbors, 

 

At approximately 4:00am this morning, reports were received that a 39-year-old woman was shot outside of a bar on the 600 block of W Belden Avenue.  According to initial information, the victim was outside when they received multiple gunshot wounds, self transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and remains there in critical condition.  

 

My office has been in immediate contact with local area three detectives and the Chicago Police Department (CPD) as we monitor this case. Additional patrols have been secured and area detectives are actively on the scene.
