Every week we highlight a 38th Ward business to spread the word about local businesses that residents may not be aware of or might enjoy trying. This week we are proud to showcase a business that has achieved a major milestone.

Hagen's Fish Market at 5635 W Montrose is celebrating their 80th year in business! Hagen's is one of Chicago's last natural hardwood smokehouses. Founded in 1946 and ran by four generations of the same family, a great-grandson is currently leading the family business. Make sure to stop by and congratulate them at their Anniversary Party on Saturday, August 29th!
