Dear Neighbor,

The 17th District Police responded to calls of shots fired today, February 28th, in the 4900 block of N. Harding Ave. around 2:30 p.m. 

Two people were found shot, and one succumbed to their injuries. 

The surviving victim and witnesses were not cooperative with responding officers. Police believe this is an isolated gang incident. 

This information is preliminary, as the investigation is ongoing.
